This year Team Inocean Sailing crossed the finish line in the Helly Hansen Skagen Race as number 64 of 257 boats. With winds from north-east the conditions were reported to be less demanding than last year, but a race like this is still a challenge.
In its class Inocean headed number 16 - a positions which could have been even better if the boat hadn't lost speed when the wind dropped at the last part of the race. Until then the Inocean team had crossed Skagerrak in very good speed (top speed: 16 knots) sailing with the spinnaker launched most of the night. Time from Åsgårdstrand to Skagen: approximately 16 hours.
The crew members this time was Jørgen Høgmoe (first race), Tommy Stadaas, Robert Søvik, Birger Peter Bech, Pål Markus Berg, Thomas Eckey, Aage Andersen and Geir Grimsrud (captain).
