Knock Allan has sailed from Drydocks World Dubai after being converted from tanker to FPSO. Knock Allan is the largest conversion project that Inocean has carried out for Fred. Olsen Production.
Inocean has completed it's scope
Knock Allan has been converted from a trading tanker to a FPSO for the Olowi field offshore Gabon on the west coast of Africa. The field is operated by Fred. Olsen Production on behalf of CNR International (Olowi) Ltd. The departure from the shipyard means that Inocean has completed it's scope, which has been to develop technical documentation and drawings for Class approval. This includes:
- Stability and loading conditions
- Hydrodynamic analysis in transit and operation
- Documentation for hull life extension
- Deck structure interface with hull
- Process module foundations
- Flare tower design
- Riser balcony structure design
- Marine systems P&IDs
- 3D modeling piping layout
- Living quarters modification
- HSE
