Many of our projects address challenges related to emissions and the environment. These are always in the picture when we design new ships and drilling rigs, and when we execute conversion projects. Recycling old tankers, one of Inocean's core activities, is in itself an activity with an environmental benefit.
We are working continuously to develop and prepare for new methods for the production of renewable energy. Our active role in SWAY is an example. With its unique technology, SWAY is well on its way to overcome many of the hurdles that have long limited the potential of offshore windmills. The novel floating foundation has a achieved international recognition and a licence is secured for the first prototype.
Inocean is also working on the development of specialised ships for installation of offshore windmills and electrification of offshore platforms.
